MAKE JOURNAL
A print-ready file starts with five decisions
Set the finished size, content, images, cut or fold details and proof approval before sending artwork for production.

1. Set the finished size
Write the final width, height and unit clearly. A design shown on a phone does not communicate its physical size. For banners, distinguish finished size from any hem or fixing allowance. For paper work, tell us whether the measurement is before or after folding.
2. Finalise the words
Check Bangla spelling, names, dates, phone numbers, addresses and prices before layout approval. Keep one master version of the text. If several people are reviewing, appoint one person to send the final corrections so competing versions do not reach production.
3. Use the best original images
Send the original photo or logo file where available. A screenshot or compressed chat image may contain less usable detail. Image suitability depends on final size and viewing distance, so ask for a file check rather than assuming every image needs the same resolution. Supply fonts correctly embedded or outlined when the agreed workflow calls for it.
4. Explain what happens at the edges
Tell MAKE where the work will be trimmed, folded, punched or cut to shape. Keep important text away from those areas. Ask for the required bleed and safe margin for the selected product before exporting; there is no single setting that suits every banner, card, booklet and label.
5. Approve the current proof
Check the latest proof, not an earlier message attachment. Review page order, front/back orientation, crop and personalisation. A screen proof checks content and layout; it does not guarantee an exact physical colour match. If colour is critical, discuss a suitable physical sample and whether it is included in the quote.
Keep the order clear
Name the files by job and version, and state quantities for each design. Include the order reference when sending a correction. Production should follow the approved specification and current quote, with changes confirmed before work proceeds.
