A few banners? Start with the finished size.

Three banners measuring 2 × 3 feet have a combined finished area of 18 square feet. Raw material consumption can differ because rolls have fixed widths and the work may need trimming, hems or eyelets.

For finished printing, provide the final width, height, quantity, indoor or outdoor use, finishing and deadline. Ask whether material, printing and finishing are included.

For unprinted material, choose the exact fixed roll width and requested length. Three cuts, each 3 feet long, from a 2.25-foot roll use 20.25 square feet before other production allowances. Finished area and material consumption are different measurements.
