MAKE JOURNAL
Shop signboards: a checklist before requesting a quote
Prepare dimensions, location photos, lettering and lighting requirements.

Start with the location
Measure the available sign space and photograph the wall or frame from the front and side. Describe the height, access and whether an existing sign must be removed. Do not climb or access electrical equipment to obtain measurements; use an appropriately qualified person where access is difficult.
Separate the elements
A sign project can involve a printed face, a supporting frame, individual letters, lighting and installation. List each requirement rather than relying on a broad name such as an LED or acrylic sign. MAKE can review your enquiry and confirm which elements can be quoted; a catalogue listing is not confirmation of installation or electrical work.
Prepare readable content
Start with the shop name, main service and essential contact information. Send the logo in its best available original format. Include Bangla spelling and English wording in the brief. Explain the intended viewing distance so text placement can be reviewed during design.
Ask for a complete quotation
Request the proposed dimensions, material, finish, mounting scope and any separate transport or installation charges. Ask how site measurements will be confirmed. Do not assume that an attractive reference photo establishes the material grade, outdoor life or structural suitability of the proposed sign.
Review before agreeing
Check every word and dimension in the proof. Confirm responsibility for permissions, site access and any specialist installation. Ask MAKE to state the agreed production and delivery arrangement for your job. Unlisted sign types can be discussed as an enquiry; availability and capability must be confirmed before any commitment.
