One gift or a whole team: plan personalisation without mistakes
Choose a useful blank, check the crop and names, and keep quantities and packaging clear for each recipient.

Start with the recipient and use
A desk gift, clothing item and wedding keepsake solve different needs. Decide what the recipient will use, the budget per item or set, and whether packaging is part of the brief. A set should list each component so you can compare quotations fairly.
Choose the actual blank
Shape, material, colour and printable area affect the artwork. A design that works on a flat notebook may need a different crop on a curved mug or small keyring. Ask for the actual dimensions and confirm what is included, such as cushion filling, a frame or a presentation box.
Keep names in one checked list
For a team order, put one recipient per row with the exact spelling, size where relevant, chosen item and quantity. Mark repeat designs separately from unique names. Check the list before sending it and confirm how the names will map to the artwork; a correct design with the wrong name still becomes the wrong gift.
Review crop and placement
Send the best original image and explain which people or details must remain visible. For mugs, discuss the handle position. For garments, specify front, back or other placement and give a size breakdown. The appropriate printing method depends on the blank, fabric and finish; it should be confirmed rather than assumed.
Approve before production
Review the current proof and personalised data. Confirm packaging, delivery address and any required date without assuming a guaranteed turnaround. Ask for care instructions suited to the actual finished item. Illustrative catalogue mockups show an idea, not the exact blank or final print result.
